NEW! FREE WELLNESS SUPPORT GROUP BEGINS

Winter can be a difficult season for people suffering from depressive disorders and other health issues.  At Willowcreek we think winter should be AWESOME!  So, every sunday we will hold a 90 minute support group for those who wish to gather and exchange thoughts on managing depression, bi-polar, addictition and health issues.

The group will be run in a 12 step format discussion group, which means your attendance is ANONYMOUS.  Everything you say here…defintely stays here.

We will conduct some work book studies over the course of the season which will help us stay focused on moving forward and enjoying everything that life has to offer in every season.

Many of these books will have a spiritual leaning and will explore various concepts of spirituality and connectivity to nature and your life.  There is no need to have any prior knowledge of the concepts. We do not adherre to any spefici religious teachings, but some ideologies may be useful for our individual purposes.  Some of the books we will reference include:

* Entering The Castle~ Caroline Myss ~ a comprehensive overview of 7 mansions of the Soul by St. Theresa

* Change Your thoughts, Change your life: Wayne Dyer ~ Applying the wisdom of the Tao Te Ching in every day life

* Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle ~ The power of present moment non-conceptualized thinking.

Being well starts with how you approach your perception of the life you have right now.

It can only begin with YOU.  Being on medication for depression or bi-polar (if you are) is NOT enough if you are suffering from emotional issues.  Support groups help provide a safe place to express and find solutions to every day issues.
